Dunning-Copilot

FAQ

Answers to common Dunning-Copilot setup, Stripe, data, and recovery workflow questions.

What does Dunning-Copilot do?

It watches Stripe failed-payment events, drafts customer-safe recovery follow-up, tracks recovered revenue, and routes risky cases to an operator instead of acting blindly.

The launch version is built for Stripe-billed businesses that want a narrow failed-payment recovery workflow rather than a full billing platform.

How does Stripe access work?

The preferred path is Stripe Connect authorization after checkout. A restricted-key fallback exists for the first customers if Connect activation is still gated.

Card data stays inside Stripe-hosted surfaces. Dunning-Copilot works with invoice and event metadata needed for recovery workflow decisions.

Does the AI send messages automatically?

The product is draft-first. Launch-week controls bias toward human review, especially for high-value invoices, repeated failures, or policy-sensitive cases.

Autonomous actions require explicit environment gates, idempotency records, rate limits, spend caps, and the global pause switch to remain open.
